What is Magnesium?
for muscle, nerve, and sleep
Magnesium is involved in hundreds of enzyme reactions and is needed for muscle, nerve, and heart function. Deficiency is common and can cause muscle cramps, palpitations, and sleep problems.
Serum magnesium reflects only a small fraction of the body's total magnesium - most is in bone and cells. The value is still useful as a first indicator.
