What is PSA?
your prostate health marker
PSA is a protein produced by the prostate gland. The value rises with age and with prostate conditions including benign enlargement, inflammation, and prostate cancer.
Testing is not routinely recommended for men under 50 without a family history. Where indicated, free PSA and the PSA ratio provide additional information.
