What is Estradiol?
your main estrogen
Estradiol is the most active estrogen and varies sharply through the menstrual cycle. The value gives information about reproductive health, perimenopause, and menopause.
In premenopausal women, interpretation depends on the cycle day the sample is drawn. In men, estradiol is low but still relevant for bone density and brain health.
