What is MCH?
haemoglobin per red cell
MCH measures how much haemoglobin each red cell carries on average. It tracks MCV and helps classify anaemia.
Together with MCV, MCH gives a picture of red cell structure and helps determine whether anaemia is iron-deficient or has another cause.
